“Reach with bold hands - become all you dream.” Crescendo
This year, our music production classes took a new creative direction. As the class format shifted, we decided to turn everything the scholars had been learning into one final project: a mixtape!! Each grade participated, bringing their own sound, ideas, and creative energy to the project. The challenge was simple — apply the skills from the year and make the tracks as fire as possible. With so many submissions, this collection features a group of standout songs that show the creativity, growth, and individuality of our students. I’m proud of every scholar who locked in, learned something new, and helped bring this project to life.
about the instructor:
Keith Tutt II is an award-winning producer, composer, and cellist with over 20 years of professional experience. His musical journey began at the age of four - and over time, he expanded his craft to include multiple instruments, programming, and production, collaborating with critically acclaimed artists across a wide range of genres, including Metro Boomin, Solange, and PNAU. His string arrangements have been featured on Grammy-winning albums, and his production work has earned numerous accolades.

Many of them were stepping into music production for the first time, and they jumped in with imagination and confidence. The 5th grade mixtape brings a strong mix of style, focus, and originality. Scholars used the tools they learned throughout the year to shape beats, build musical ideas, and create tracks with their own unique sound.

Music Production.
This year, our 4th–6th grade students dove into the world of digital music production— and they blew us away!
Under the guidance of award-winning producer Teacher Keith and fellow teacher James, our students didn’t just learn about music — they became producers! With their own computers and pro-level tools at their fingertips, they built beats, crafted melodies, and arranged full songs from the ground up. Keith and James brought real industry experience straight into the classroom, turning lessons on rhythm, tempo, layering, and song structure into a hands-on creative adventure. By year’s end, the students created over 100 original tracks — and below is a playlist of 30 that highlight the creativity and range of these young producers!
